My Inspirations

My Inspirations and Resources

First of all, Thank you! Keep doing what you do. Second of all, I want to say that just because these organizations are some the ones who inspire me, it doesn't mean that the same ones should inspire you. Rather, because a wide-variety of things inspire me, I wanted to create this page as a list of resources to anyone else on the journey. I also must add that I do not speak for any of these organizations. I am not affiliated with them, and they are not paying me for sharing about them. Rather, this is simply my way of saying: thank you! Hopefully someday I can give back to many of the organizations and groups that make my life so grand. If not, maybe I can help them get noticed for their great work and increase the ability for them to be noticed. Another thing I want to say is that no single organization is completely flawless. We live in a world where those who strive to do better still must play the game of rules, laws and regulations that our society abides by, and as many of you know, it is in and of itself flawed. Nobody is perfect! And by supporting these organizations, I am not saying that everything they do or say is going to be perfect or correct or that I will even agree with it all. Instead, I am adding them here to bring awareness to the cause and the journey. These groups are on the path and I want to thank them for what they offer! ~Rosem~

Documentaries to watch: (Oh there are so many but here's what came to my mind first)

"Damnation"

And pretty much any documentary about fungi.
(I also have lots of documentary and book recommendations on the topics of trauma and healing and mental health that I can share, but boy is that a lot of info so it will be added at a later date.)

Lowering Waste:

Any and all local thrift stores. Just Google "thrift stores near me". Shopping local will help to keep these valuable assets in our communities.

For those who are ever in this area. Consider supporting https://www.ragfinery.com/ and local stores like it.

https://goodonyou.eco/

https://rubycup.com/ or ANY Menstrual Cup in general, especially that fits your body best, but this organization in particular does great things.

On the topic of women's health.
https://www.intimaterose.com/ for those with chronic pain, pelvic floor disfunction, pelvic pain, painful sex, endometriosis or any related disease. *Shout out to Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists*Thank YOU!*

Other Companies I appreciate:

Don't forget that buying local can be the most sustainable option and that it definitely improves the health of your community. If something like this exists where you live and is just as good or even better, don't listen to me! Do that!

https://www.tru.earth/ OR https://www.earthbreeze.com/ I currently have Tru Earth. They are not as strong as synthetic detergents are, but I appreciate this concept and want to get behind the idea. I have not yet switched away from it but will update if I feel the need to.

https://www.thegreenpetshop.com/ I have not used them for very many things, and I maybe won't use them again for a while, but when we had a dangerous heat-wave, this cooling pad was godsend to keep my furr-baby safe and cool.
